Our INPI database is synchronized weekly from the official INPI FTP feed (ST66 XML format). It contains all French, EU-designation, and international trademarks from 1976 to present. Recent filings (last 7 days) may not yet appear — we show the last sync date on each result.
EUIPO is queried in real-time via the official IP Connect API. There is no delay — results reflect the current state of the register. A fallback to eSearch ensures availability if the primary API is down.
The French RNE is queried in two layers: a local pg_trgm mirror (synchronized weekly) and the live data.gouv.fr API as a fallback. Most results are from our mirror; the live API catches very recent registrations.
Our AI (Claude by Anthropic) reviews all 13 source results and provides: a 0–100 availability score, risk level (Low / Moderate / High / Critical), phonetic and visual similarity analysis, Nice class recommendations for your sector, specific conflict explanations, and suggested name variants if risks are found.

The AI is powered by Claude (Anthropic), one of the most capable models available. Its trademark law reasoning is strong for common scenarios. However, edge cases, complex Nice class questions, and enforcement strategy require human expertise.

Search results are cached for up to 24 hours to speed up repeat queries. Your personal search history (if logged in) is retained for 12 months, then deleted. You can delete your history at any time from your account.
Only you. Our team has access to aggregate statistics (number of searches, error rates) but not to individual search queries.
When a conflict is detected, you can opt in to be connected with a verified IP lawyer or CPI. The lawyer sees a summary of your search, not your full account. You choose whether to proceed.
